In this paper, we conduct review on the modern ideological and political education system based on big data and multimedia. The evaluation of the learning system is usually done by the use of statistics, which is based on the assumption. The data mining technology uses the opposite approach, which is based on data mining. In the absence of the statistical methods of data mining, it is usually simple to count the total number of visitors to a web page, the learner's online learning time, and the learner's highest frequency of access. The multimedia teaching picture, text, sound, like in one can be abstract and abstruse, monotonous and boring content into vivid and specific sense of content, and can greatly increase amount of information in teaching, enrich teaching contents. With this consideration, this paper proposes the review on the modern ideological and political education system. In the future, we will apply more related theories into this area to verify the effectiveness.
