Self-assembly of two 3D coordination polymers based on NiII/CoII-terephthalic 1D blocks

摘要
Two 3D coordination polymers, [Ni-II(tp)(OHCH3)}(n) (1), and (Co-II(tp)(phen)(H2O)}(n) (2) (tp = terephthalic dianion, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized by self-assembly. The structure analyses show that both of the two complexes are formed by one-dimensional infinite chains through non-covalent interactions, but I is formed by one-dimensional straightforward chains, while 2 is based on one-dimensional zigzag ones. The photoluminescent study of the two complexes shows that they exhibit fluorescent emission bands at ca. 374 nm and 392 nm, respectively. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
