Medium effects on spin observables in Ca-40(p,2p)K-39 reaction

摘要
The Ca-40(p, 2p)K-39 reaction at 200 MeV has been analyzed in the finite-range relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation (RDWIA). Medium effects on the nucleon-nucleon interaction are taken into account through the modification of hadron masses and meson-nucleon coupling constants in nuclei. The spectroscopic factor is reduced by about 30 % owing to the medium modification, and the calculations for the analyzing power at the asymmetric geometry are improved considerably. We find that the medium effect on the analyzing power depends heavily on the reaction geometry when we analyse the (p,2p)-reaction in DWIA approaches.
