摘要
We report a high-linearity silicon electro-optic modulator based on single ring-assisted Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI). The best spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of the third-order intermodulation distortion (IMD3) is 109 dB.Hz(2/3). The linearity is comparable to the commercial lithium niobate modulators. The device can find potential applications in microwave photonic systems.
