摘要：
This article underlines the importance of SMEs in EU and in Slovakia and describes the potential of SMEs and their contribution to the European and Slovak economy in the future. It is necessary to highlight the support of state and commercial institutions towards SMEs in Slovakia to strengthen their export activities worldwide.
