摘要
Maps of the surface temperature of Lake Baikal for 1994-1997, constructed based on multispectral images, acquired using the AVHRR scanner, are used to study the dynamics of the main types of thermal fronts. Phenomena of frontogenesis and questions relating to seasonal variability are studied. A regression scheme for estimating the temperature advection fields due to currents is given, which uses sequences of satellite images.
