摘要
The cars of tomorrow will have to meet new requirements in relation with the forthcoming European legislation on green house gas emissions, safety, durability and acoustic comfort. Steel is in competition with other materials, but has new solutions to offer both for the design of structural and hang-on components and for the choice of tailor made steel products. High strength steels, coated products, composite panels and new joining concepts are part of these solutions. On all aspects considered, steel can offer cost effective and technicality efficient solutions.
