摘要
An exact solution for the density of electrons in a quantum dot with model quadratic interactions between the electrons is derived, taking into account correlation effects between the electrons. These correlation effects give rise to oscillations in the density as a function of the radial distance from the center of trapping potential of the dot. Upon increasing the temperature, the density profile smoothens and the oscillations vanish. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
