Wealth from health

The NHS has set up a network to make sure that it profits from the thousands of inventions that come out of hospitals. Through licensing production of the ideas, forming collaborations or joint ventures or spinning out new companies, the hubs are planned to become self-financing. Any profit, after the inventor's royalty, would go back into funding the NHS Trusts. Although full commercialization of these inventions is not reached yet, the results are encouraging.
