摘要：
The control of blast induced damage to rock dopes requires thorough analysis of existing site conditions and careful blast design and implementation. During the past several years the author has conducted extensive research into the causes of blast induced slope damage including blast performance quantification using high-speed cinematography, borehole imaging and digital vibration monitoring. These studies revealed the dominant influence of confinement on overbreak and the time domain that damage occurs.
