摘要：
The article presents a description of the new species, Thinobius (s. str.) endroedy, from Namibia. The lecto-type, T. (s. str.) iridiventris Beruhauer 1934, is designated, its redescription is given. A key to the identification of the genus Thinobius from tropical Africa is given.
