摘要
Under the promotion of economic development and the government policy of Thailand, the railway freight transport has won very important development opportunities. The paper analyzed the development history of freight, and expounded the current situation of freight transportation in Thailand railway network, including railway trunk line, railway freight mode and market situation of railway freight transportation. Then strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of railway transportation were elaborated. On the basis of these, the paper put forward the constructive strategy by using the SWOT strategy analysis method, which provided the reference for the relevant departments to reform the railway freight transportation system.
