Solvent-induced crystallization of poly(ether ether ketone)

摘要：
It has recently been shown that relatively low molecular weight poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) crystallizes in the presence of acetone, an 'intermediate' solvent. In this study, a quantitative correlation will be made between controlled thermal and/or solvent-induced crystalline morphologies and the resultant mechanical properties of PEEK. As a result, the nature of the crystals formed when PEEK is exposed to intermediate solvents will be determined.
