摘要
Grid connected PV system injects the available electric power from solar irradiance into the grid, so for investors as PV system supplies power to the grid then it works properly. However, the amount of electric power that should be injected to the grid depends on many factors, the most important ones are solar irradiance and operational temperature which is related to the ambient temperature, and for all this the amount of PV power differs from the nominal values (at standard test conditions). In this study the PV power is going to be predicted from equations that connect PV power with climate conditions and then compare the obtained power with the real PV power injected from the system, if the difference is less than a tolerance value then the system is working properly while if it is bigger then there is a problem in the system and it needs maintenance. This way would avoid extra losses in any grid connected PV system, which is reflected on adding extra energy to the grid and avoiding money losses as this energy would be purchased by the local grid.
