摘要
Introduction: Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone (NHDC) is a derivative of chalcone, with good stability, safety and non-toxicity, and is widely used in food, aquaculture and pharmaceuticals. Materials and methods: According to the relevant literature, NHDC showed good antioxidant activity against carbon tetrachloride-induced oxidative damage in mouse liver and human hepatoma cell lines and good scavenging activity against the generated oxygen free radicals, suggesting that it may it has a therapeutic effect on inflammatory diseases. Results and conclusion: This article reviews the research progress of the pharmacological effects of NHDC, and provides a scientific basis for the in-depth research of NHDC and the further comprehensive development and utilization of plant resources.
