摘要：
Stem and leaf morpho-anatomical structures of Myriophyllum quitense are described and illustrated. The samples were collected in two ecological environments. The presence of hydropoten in submerged stems was observed. Mucilages and tannins were detected by qualitative hystochemical tests.
