Learning difficulties are characterized as obstacles or barriers experienced by students during the schooling phase, and these obstacles are related to the uptake or assimilation of the proposed contents. This study presents an analysis of the perceptions of the main involved in the educational process: students, teachers, pedagogical coordination and parents - on learning difficulties. The research was conducted in a private school, located in the municipality of Viamao, Brazil. The results show that learning difficulties are a reality, being attributed to several factors, such as the lack of contextualization in the teaching process, mentioned mainly by the students, and the lack of interest in the study itself, mentioned mainly by teachers as justification for the school performance of their students. Therefore, it is concluded that researches aimed at investigating learning difficulties and their associated factors are encouraged, since they are fundamental for the planning of actions aimed at solving this problem, improving the pedagogical process.
