摘要
Monoolein cubic phase containing poly(hydroxyethyl acrylate-co-propyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid) was prepared by a melt-hydration method. The electric field (1.5 V, 3 V, and 4.5 V) promoted the release of amaranth (a negatively charged dye) loaded in the cubic phase. The release degree of the dye loaded in the cubic phase without the copolymer increased in a saturation manner with increasing the voltage intensity. Meanwhile, the release degree in presence of the copolymer increased in a gradual manner with the voltage intensity. The electric field-driven release was promoted more when the content of methacrylic acid unit of the copolymer was higher. (C) 2018 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.
