摘要
The paper deals with the design of an electric-driven shipborne launching device. The aim is to develop a full providing device for safe and efficient lifting, lowering and maintaining of a ship's auxiliary boat. In the first part, different types of davits are briefly discussed. The next part is devoted to the calculation of the variable mechanical load, taking into account the features of the construction and operation of the device. After that, the appropriate electric motor is selected. Finally, the onboard lifting device's electric drive operation simulation and analysis are performed.
