摘要
A hierarchical approach to the primary mirror segment control problem was analyzed. High spatial wave number deformations were estimated using local measurements of the relative displacements of nearby segments. For a 1080-segment geometry, the resulting architecture reduces the computational burden by a factor of 10 with no significant loss in performance. A full evaluation of the closed-loop performance requires models of the telescope structure and disturbance environment.
