An analysis framework for knowledge resource strategy

摘要
The knowledge resource (KR) is one of the most important strategic resources of an enterprise. To formulate and to carry out a correct knowledge resource strategy (KRS) is of great importance to gain and keep an enterprise's long-term competence. This paper develops a structural framework to formulate and carry out KRS. In this framework, the formulation of KRS has four steps: identifying key knowledge fields, analyzing gaps of key knowledge fields, analyzing using of key knowledge resources, and selecting KRS with the help of knowledge resource matrix (KRM).
