Ship liquid cargo handling system based on decoupling control and PSO algorithm

摘要
Pressure control of Inert gas and flow control of liquid oil on the ship liquid cargo handling process are interacted and coupled with each other. If the couple were not untied, the system performance will be lower and even it will not run. So a novel decoupling PID control method is presented to resolve the problem. A multivariable decoupling system based on neural network decentralized-decoupling is built and used as compensators for input/output of the system, the coupling relation of pressure and flow is untied to independent SISO system, which can be controlled by PID controller. Theoretical analysis shows that the proposed method is able to decouple completely. And the parameters of PID are adaptively adjustable with using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Simulation results show that the control system is simple and has good performance. It is superior to conventional decoupling PID control to improve the accuracies of gauge.
