摘要
The rapid development of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) was fundamental for the progress of tourism, and is still considered as one of the main elements for the competitiveness of the activity. The objective of this study is to draw a current overview of tourism publications and ICTs in Brazilian Tourism scientific journals, in order to identify the main themes studied. and future prospects for research in this field. As a methodological strategy, we opted for a systematic literature review, defining as a source of national periodic data in the area of Tourism. The 292 articles that made up the universe were categorized according to the classification of Law, Leung and Chan (2019), and they were analyzed using content analysis supported by the Iramuteq software. As a result, a growing evolution can be seen in studies on ICTs, mainly from 2014 onwards. The classification of the analyzes was based on 54% from the perspective of Suppliers, while 46% were from the perspective of Consumers. This growth and quality of the research reinforce the relevance of the theme in the studies and reflect the importance that ICTs have been taking in practice in the tourist activity.
