摘要
The one-dimensional compressibility of granular materials is investigated analytically in the framework of micromechanics and simulated using the discrete element method. The results show that the oedometric modulus can be expressed in terms of the material properties of particles and fabric-related variables. By relating the coordination number to different quantities, two forms of the compression curve equations are discussed. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
