The developement of models utilised in correlation and prediction of the vapour-liquid equilibrium are very important in the design of separation and purification processes in chemical engineering. Vapour-liquid equilibrium calculations in electrolyte systems are very difficult because of interactions complexity between the system components, molecules and ions. A survey of the literature pertaining to vapour-liquid equilibrium calculation in electrolyte systems id reviewed.
