ASPECTS REGARDING THE PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT IN A SERIES OF FIELDS OF ACTIVITY IN ROMANIA

This paper is aiming to outline a series of aspects regarding the public involvement in transport, health and education fields of activity in Romania. The paper is based on data analysis regarding the active enterprises type of ownership, provided by the National Institute of Statistics, and on synthesis of recent experiences concerning public-private collaboration in Romania. The study revealed the dominant share of the private sector in the social capital of the active enterprises in the analyzed fields of activity. In what concerns the synthesis of the media visible practical examples of public-private collaboration in Romania, the transport sector is the main attractor, followed by the health sector considered to be a pioneer in the projects that promote the Public-Private Partnerships in Romania, but more experienced than education.
