FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, RISING UNIT COSTS FOR ALL FACETS OF OPERATIONS ARE FORCING SERVICE REDUCTIONS, MAINTENANCE AND CAPITAL PROJECT DEFERRALS AND FARE INCREASES. TRANSIT PLANNERS AND TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS AND PLANNERS MUST PLAN AND BUILD BETTER COMMUNITIES.
