Reactivity and relaxation state of cellulose fundamental and applied aspects.

The results of fundamental and applied research performed under the supervision of the author in the period from 1960 to 1997 cover the following areas of science: the structural physical chemistry of cellulose and structural phisical chemistry of cellulose - based materials. The works have also resulted in development of new cellulose-based composites and paper-like composites of given structure and proparties as well as of resource-saving industrial technologies. The foundation of these works is the concept of determining part of a cellulose relaxation state in processes of its chemical, physical and chemical, and mechanical and chemical processing.
