摘要
Asthma and other episodic lung diseases require inhalers and other treatments that can be difficult for parents and patients to manage. Addressing health literacy in these situations is a promising strategy to improve communication and, potentially, health outcomes. Many resources exist to guide clinicians and staff to apply health literacy principles to their everyday practice. Copyright © 2019 by the American Thoracic Society.
