摘要
In a connected labor scenario, digital tools are indispensable artifacts for working. However, work routines increasingly linked to digital platforms have corroborated changes in this field, such as increased levels of anxiety and burnout. These effects encourage the growth of phenomena such as the digital detox, which promotes disconnection diets, aiming to balance the consumption of digital technologies. Thus, based on an ethnography for the internet (HINE, 2015), this article analyzes the impacts of digital artifacts on the well-being of a group of individuals, in addition to identifying strategies to balance the consumption of these devices. The exercise reveals the impact of digital media on the reality of the interlocutors through the expansion of working hours and the dependency relationship for the work exercise.
