摘要：
Engineering designs and principles of operation of pulse face seals with self-regulating gap are under consideration. Experimental investigations and industrial operation experience proved the versatility of the seals with respect to the sealed medium physical properties. The designs of compact double barrier seals for pumps of various functions are presented.
