摘要
We investigate the influence of incomplete annealing (675 degreesC, 10 h) on fatigue, corrosion-fatigue, and high-temperature (up to 500 degreesC) fatigue resistance of titanium (alpha + beta)-alloy Ti-5Al-1.5V-1Mo with nominal composition as well as its welded joints made by the electron-beam method. The effect of annealing depends on a totality of factors which dominate in different ways under fatigue fracture in air, in a 3% solution of NaCl, and high-temperature fatigue. Possible mechanisms of the influence of incomplete annealing on fracture of the titanium alloy and its welded joints are analyzed.
