摘要
Well-designed and durable structures play an important role in attaining sustainable infrastructure. However, sometimes due to severe atmospheric conditions such as heat, moisture, chemical attack, other environmental factors, these structures start to deteriorate over a period. To determine the extent of damage to the structure, various tests and structure health monitoring methods have been developed. These tests help in the timely indication of deterioration and maintenance and monitoring of the structure. This paper presents the Non-Destructive Test (NDT) analysis on the novelty developed Rice Husk Ash (RHA) and Crushed Stone (CS) added concrete. RHA was added as a partial replacement of cement in the proportion varying from 5 % to 25% and CS was added in the proportion varying from 20% to 100% as a replacement of sand. Rebound hammer and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) test were performed to check the compressive strength of concrete after 28 and 84 days. The test results were compared with conventional concrete (CC), and it was found that the addition of RHA up to 15% and CS up to 80% replacement gives higher values of compressive strength. For optimum content, the value of rebound number is 18.4% higher for 84 days duration as compare to CC. The value of UPV and rebound number for all the series was higher as compare to that of CC.Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
