摘要：
Test engineers today experience a growing challenge to develop systems capable of testing the new technologies found in products currently under development while also maintaining legacy test systems and reducing cost. This paper considers various methods for supporting legacy test systems and languages through software while supporting the requirements for next generation test systems. This includes discussion on the decision to re-host a legacy system or integrate with new technology without modifying the existing source code. This paper also discusses methods for reusing existing test software libraries that are no longer a part of a specific test system but contain valuable investments in test development and algorithms.
