摘要
The aim of the study was a genomic comparison of Staphylococcus aureus isolates taken from humans, cows, dogs and food. A total of 48 Staphylococcus aureus strains were subtyped. PCR-fingerprinting was the method used to differentiate between the isolates. All the organisms in the study were fingerprinted using the gfasreg4 primer. This method facilitated discriminating 7 different banding patterns from the 3-7 bands produced. The 48 isolates were grouped into seven different DNA-fingerprinting patterns: strains taken from humans designated to 6 patterns, strains taken from cows to 6 patterns, strains from dogs to 5 patterns, strains from food to 5 patterns. No relationship between strains from the same group was observed. 29 of the 48 strains (60%) could be assigned to one of three DNA-fingerprinting groups. Three main DNA-fingerprinting groups were identified: group I consisting of 10 strains, group II consisting of 10 strains and group III with nine. The application of the DNA-fingerprinting method verifies differences in the DNA patterns of S. Aureus strains from different origins.
