Symbol timing rapid acquisition for π/4-DQPSK signals in non-coherent demodulator

摘要
This paper presents a new algorithm of symbol timing rapid acquisition for /pi 4-DQPSK with Doppler frequency offset in low-rate digital mobile burst signal. This algorithm can be done in parallel with signal acquisition and frequency offset acquisition. It has advantages over serial systems. That detect signal energy, then estimate Doppler frequency offset, and finely acquire symbol timing. Finally, experimental results for a hardware implementation are given.
