摘要
Certain basic results from the study of the special features of the gas dynamics and heat transfer in fuel assemblies with spherical fuel elements placed in a ring-shaped gap between two perforated cases are presented. The gaseous coolant flows in a radial direction from periphery to center. The special features of the packing of spherical fuel elements in such gaps are studied. The formation of a gas-dynamic structure of the coolant flows inside fuel-element packings and in the dispensing collectors as well as heat transfer and the working capacity of fuel assemblies was investigated.
