Web-based education tool for teaching animation in higher education

This paper describes an experience undertaken with higher education students, which consisted in utilizing a Web-based Education Tool to serve as an aid in the teaching of Animation to Multimedia Production and Digital Video, a optional course taught to students at Escola Superior de Ciencias Empresariais (Higher School of Management Sciences), where the first author teaches. Briefly referred the model used for the planning, development and evaluation of the above-mentioned Tool. In relation to the Tool, the way it was applied and its evaluation are also presented. The results obtained are interpreted and future developments are proposed taking into account that the School is developing an E-Learning project.
