A Frequency Selective Surface with Wide Passband and Lower-Rejection Band Based on MagnetoElectric Dipole Antennas

摘要
A new frequency selective surface (FSS) with a wide passband and lower-rejection band is proposed, its unit cell is composed of two magneto-electric (ME) dipole antennas connected by a slotted GND plane. The 38.5% 3-dB fractional bandwidth (FBW (3dw)), 77.1% and 13.8% 20-dB fractional bandwidths (FBW (3dw)) in the lower and upper rejection bands are respectively obtained. Simulated results show that the proposed FSS is with wide passband and wide rejection band, dual-polarized application, and low profile.
