摘要：
A new approach to the problem of time series classification is discussed in this paper. A new adaptive classification scheme is introduced and compared with existing approaches, such as the Bayesian approach and the Incremental Credit Assignment approach. Simulation results are included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new methodology.
