摘要：
The paper presents a brief description of a finite elements formulation capable of performing non-linear geometrical analysis. The formulation is applied to the study of a shallow foundation in a drained condition. The influence of the load level, stiffness and the width of the foundation is analysed in terms of vertical and horizontal displacements and evolution at depth of the vertical and horizontal stresses.
