摘要
This paper addresses a development of a support management system for an aggregator bidding in an electricity day-ahead market. The aggregator manages wind power and photovoltaic power systems, thermal power units and demand response on energy usage of end-users. The goal of the aggregator is profit maximization in the day-ahead market by optimal coordination of the power sources with the strategy for demand response on energy usage of end-users. The support management system is based in stochastic programming formulated as a mixed integer linear programming approach. Demand response allowing a shifting of energy usage from periods of unfavorable market prices to periods of favorable ones can contribute to improve the profit. A comparison without and with demand response is discussed as a case study, allowing to conclude on the usefulness of the developed support management system.
