摘要
Among many estimation methods of modal parameters of structures, system identification methods in the time domain have recently been spotlighted. System identification methods in the time domain have advantages over the methods in the frequency domain in such cases where the modal parameters are changed during the records or where the length of the record is very short. In this paper, dynamic characteristics, including natural frequencies and damping ratios, of twin high-rise buildings are estimated by applying time domain system identification methods to the records of their earthquake responses.
