Engineering geology and hydrogeology in an urban environment of East Siberia

The present state of an urban environment is influenced by two groups of factors - natural factors and human activity impact (technogenous) factors. Main characteristics which became the basis for a complex index of natural - technogenous state of the investigated objects are singled out using a number of territories in East Siberia as an example. A territory zoning according to the complex index made it possible to single out territories which demand that prompt actions shout be taken with the aim of stabilizing and improving the state of the urban environment.
