THE IMPLEMENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVE EDUCATION, CENTERED ON THE STUDENT AND BASED ON COMPETENCES, IN THE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT

摘要
The education centered on the student is today a priority for all institutions of higher education, these are making sustained efforts to identify the competences considered necessary in companies that will hire future graduates, linking theoretical knowledge gained in higher education with labor market requirements, increasing competitiveness of graduates and of the degree of insertion in the labor market. The research carried out has been made quantitatively through a survey based on a questionnaire and the information was combined with qualitative research through focus group. The aim was to measure attitudes about the students' practical knowledge and importance of theoretical training for the future employees skills, the training level and strengths / weaknesses of higher education graduates employed within companies in recent years, general skills, specific and cross acquired in the training, the capacity of higher education graduates to occupy positions of coordination and involvement in the development and implementation of strategies. Based on the results of the survey performed it can be shaped the profile of the ideal graduate, of the future employee who can adapt his skills to the requirements of the job it has and can do his best.
