摘要
With the continued adaption and improvement of information technology among power enterprises, all types of application systems have accumulated large amount of invaluable business data. In order to take a full advantage of the data, we need to transform the data into the insights and knowledge for the organization. These insights and knowledge can help the organization make fast, agile, and right decisions and resolve potential issues from the business operation in a timely manner. A data warehouse and business intelligence system has been established based on the organization's data profile, business rules and hierarchy. This system provides the decision support in the form of quantitative analysis to the business managers. This system provides a single source of truth for the organization's business information, enables the standardization of reports, and provides the intelligent and agile reports. The system has demonstrated its valuable contribution to electric power supplier's project implementation management. It has also provided a better communication among various departments and standardized the organization's business process. All of those will improve the working efficiency and organization's profitability.
