摘要
The bucking loading of a rectangular plate is investigated by using an iterative approach. The biharmonic operator in equation is reduced by performing the Laplace's operator twice, and the finite difference method is used to solve the problem. The buckling loading and the deflection mode are adjusted and changed simultaneously in the iteration. A convergent tendency has been found in the solution, and high accuracy has been proved in the example problem. Eighteen kinds of boundary conditions for the plate are considered and numerical results are given. An example for buckling bending plate composed of rectangular sub-regions is also present.
