摘要
We introduce the concepts of (strong) evolution families of nonexpansive mappings in the hyperbolic metric and monotone vector fields in the unit disk. A one-to-one correspondence between these two notions is proved. In particular, this result shows that holomorphy can be replaced by nonexpansive mappings in the hyperbolic metric in one of the main results of the very recent generalized Loewner theory in the unit disk.
