摘要
Technology-based services (TBS) are services that are developed, produced or distributed while making use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT). This type of services contributes increasingly to the growth of developed economies by creating substantial value for both the user and the provider of the service. Short product life cycles render innovation capabilities a source of sustainable competitive advantage for companies. Significant gains appear to be possible by increasing decision-making effectiveness in pre-development stages of service innovation projects, especially in the screening process. Combining literature on service innovation, new product screening and decision-making under uncertainty, we identify a range of antecedents of technology based service proposal screening effectiveness, develop propositions and provide a research agenda.
