摘要：
The new species Achaetomium umbonatum (Chaetomiaceae, Ascomycota), isolated from soil in Northern India, is described, illustrated and compared with morphologically similar taxa. It is characterised by its thermotolerance, and the opaque, big, limoniform. ascospores. Analysis of the D1 and D2 regions of the LSU rRNA gene supports the proposal that this new species.
